Team & Season Details:

The teams transition to a larger pitch within the 11v11 format and longer game times and larger ball sizes are introduced as the player progresses through the age groups within the Central Lancs Junior Football League. Competitive football (published results and league tables) is now embedded within the game and relegation and promotion occurs within the relevant leagues. Players are encouraged to take risks and be comfortable making mistakes within the game environment as development is accelerated throughout the years.​​

 

Note to new parents of potentially unsigned players (training only):

We encourage any player (of the correct age) to come to training as opportunities to be signed-on at a Leyland Albion team can arise throughout the season, where required.

During the season any unsigned players will be included in any/all team outings. Additional matches are usually arranged during winter (either indoor or on all-weather 3G pitches), when there are no schedule league games and all the way through the summer months too to try out what has been practiced in training.
